These terms are the end-user licence for Hitchwise. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer rule in your country says otherwise.
Hitchwise is a low-speed trailer reversing simulator for practice. It is not instruction, not a driving test, and must not be used while manoeuvring a real vehicle.
Hitchwise is licensed, not sold. Nikah AI Ltd grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store or Google Play terms that also apply.
This is a practice simulator, not a driving instructor. It does not license, certify or qualify you to tow — there is no towing test or endorsement this app can grant. The physics model assumes no tyre slip and a level surface. It does not model weight transfer, wind or a loaded trailer's handling. Practise in a real empty car park before you tow.
That limitation is part of the product, not small print. You agree not to use Hitchwise as a substitute for instruction, a legal record, a measurement instrument, or a life-safety check.
Lifetime Pro is a one-time non-consumable purchase at £9.99. It unlocks extra reversing drills. The core simulator stays usable without it.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google. Nikah AI Ltd never sees your card details. Restore purchases is available in Settings without buying again.
If the product is a subscription, it auto-renews unless you cancel in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules, not by Nikah AI Ltd.
You do not create an account with the operator. The app works offline. The only network it may open is the platform store for purchase or restore.
Do not use Hitchwise while driving or reversing a real vehicle, on a ladder next to a live fan, or as a check of a life-safety knot. Do not reverse, decompile or misrepresent the app as approved by a regulator.
Hitchwise is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nikah AI Ltd is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the app — including a manoeuvre in a real car park, a planned shift, a fan that is not in fact out of balance, a golf shot, or a knot.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where that limit would be unlawful in England and Wales.
For Knotcraft specifically: EU Product Liability Directive 2024/2853 applies strict liability to software placed on the market after 9 December 2026. That is one reason Knotcraft does not verify knots and excludes life-safety uses.
Hitchwise is a towing-practice trainer. It is not directed at children under 13. Anyone using it should be old enough to sit in a tow vehicle with a competent adult, which we treat as 12 and over.

We may update these terms in the app and at the URL below. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new terms.
